How did you hear of the Mainstay DRP Mizen to Malin Elite Cycle Challenge? : the world wide web.

How long have you been long distance cycling for? : only really started this year.

Have you ever taken part in a challenge like this before? : I’ve taken part in various challenges in the past, such as the Oxfam 100km Trail-Trekker event etc, but not cycling events.

How did you find training for the event? : Generally enjoyed training, but finding the time for regular long runs was difficult enough. Had enjoyable training runs around the Strangford/Ards peninsula area and around the Causeway Coastal route and I enjoyed taking part in this year’s maracycle to get some more miles into my legs.

What are you looking forward to most about the Elite Challenge? : I’m hoping I can look forward to good weather, great scenery and company, the wind on my back and a cold bottle of beer after finishing!
